Financial Aid

Making Quality Music Accessible...

The Claremont Community School of Music is committed to making quality music instruction accessible to all interested students. Private and corporate donations, fundraisers, and grants enable us to offer financial aid to students who demonstrate need. CCSM uses a sliding discount scale that considers family income and the number of dependents. Assistance ranges from 10% to 50% reduction in tuition. Other factors include the number of applicants, the amount of scholarship funds available and the instructor’s recommendation, if you are a continuing student. Only one instrument per student is considered.

Although there is no application deadline, funds are limited and we strongly recommend submitting the application by August 16 for the Fall session and by May 18 for Summer session.

To apply for financial aid, the following is required:

1. Copy of most recent Federal Income Tax Return, including all W-2s.
2. Completed CCSM Registration Form
3. Completed Financial Aid Form
